Every car here is sorted before it is listed, and we want you to see that for yourself. We sell to buyers all over the country, so we keep the process simple: start with a free remote buyer pack, then have your own inspector go over the car. No pressure, no runaround.
You book and pay a mobile inspector to inspect the car here at the Analog Autohaus shop, at an appointment Nicholas confirms. LemonSquad has worked very well for prior buyers. Any qualified, Porsche-savvy mobile mechanic is fine.

Ground Rules
A few rules that keep it fair.
Short list. They protect you, the next buyer, and the car.
Proof of funds firstBefore any PPI is scheduled, we ask for proof of funds (a recent bank statement or bank letter) or a financing pre-approval covering the purchase. Get pre-approved through J.J. Best, or bring a pre-approval letter from your own bank or credit union. This keeps PPI slots for ready buyers. The free remote pack needs none of this.
Price is set before the PPIThe purchase price is agreed before any PPI is scheduled, mobile or off-site. The PPI is there to confirm the car, not to reopen the price. Anything already disclosed in the listing, inspection notes, or PIWIS report, and normal wear on an older car (tires, brakes, cosmetic marks), isn't grounds for renegotiation or a refund. If the PPI finds a significant issue we didn't disclose, we'll offer to repair it or adjust the price. If you decline, you can walk away, and an off-site deposit comes back in full.
One PPI per car at a timeThe first deposit gets priority. Without a deposit, the car stays for sale.
Off-site: book the shop, then the depositOff-site PPIs are at a specialist shop in Sarasota or Bradenton. Your shop appointment must be booked, with the shop name, date and time sent to us, before we accept the deposit. The 72-hour hold starts when the deposit is received, and your written decision is due before the 72 hours end.
Plugs and codes, nothing moreInspectors may pull spark plugs and scan codes. No other disassembly without Nicholas's approval.
Nicholas rides alongTest drives happen only with Nicholas in the car.
Share the report, then decideSend us a copy of the PPI report. If your inspector finds something, we want to know too. Your decision is due within 24 hours of receiving the report (and, for an off-site PPI, before the 72-hour hold ends).
SchedulingInspector visits are by appointment only. Call or text 941-444-0154 to schedule. Nicholas confirms every appointment.
FAQ
PPI questions, answered.
What if the PPI finds something?
Disclosed items and normal wear don't reopen the agreed price. For a significant issue we didn't disclose, we'll offer to repair it or adjust the price, or you can walk away and an off-site deposit is refunded in full.
Why do you recommend a mobile PPI at your shop?
It is the fastest way to get an independent set of eyes on the car. Your inspector can plug in a scan tool, the car never leaves the shop, and there is no deposit. Nicholas is here to answer questions and ride along on the test drive.
Who pays for the inspection?
You do, directly to the inspector or shop you choose. You book it, you pay it, and the report is yours. We just ask that you send us a copy.
Which inspector should I use?
Any qualified, Porsche-savvy mobile mechanic is fine. LemonSquad has worked very well for prior buyers. If you have someone you trust, use them.
Can the cylinders be borescoped?
Yes, as part of your PPI. Ask your inspector to include it. In some cases we can do it ourselves by separate arrangement.
Why do you ask for proof of funds before a PPI?
It keeps inspection slots for ready buyers. A recent bank statement, bank letter, or financing pre-approval (J.J. Best or your own bank) covers it. The free remote pack needs none of this.
Is the car held while I set up a mobile PPI?
No. Without a deposit it stays for sale. The off-site option's $1,000 refundable deposit holds it for 72 hours, so book your shop first.
Can the inspector take things apart or drive the car?
Pulling spark plugs and scanning codes is fine. Anything beyond that needs Nicholas's approval first. Test drives happen only with Nicholas in the car.
Does a PPI come with a warranty?
No. A PPI is information to help you decide. It does not create a warranty, and the car is sold as described on its Buyers Guide and as-is disclosure.
I'm out of state. How does this usually go?
Start with the free remote buyer pack. If you like what you see, book a mobile inspector at the shop. When you are ready, we handle title paperwork for out-of-state buyers and can size transport into the deal. See the main FAQ for shipping and fees.
